Ashkan Borouj is a national trainer of WFTGA in Iran with the background of 14 years work as a professional tourist guide. Since 2013 he worked as university lecturer in tourism and hospitality and also trainer in Iranian’s tourism training centers. Moreover, he plays a role as consultant with the expertise in sustainable tourism, tourism marketing and digital marketing in Iran. Ashkan did his M.A. in Tourism Marketing in Allameh Tabatabaiee University and his thesis was about the role of ecolodges in sustainable tourism development of central desert areas of Iran.
Borouj was cited many times from national privet and public tourism organizations for his activities in tourism industry of Iran and honored by ICHTO (Iran Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization) as a Chief Editor of Iran’s ecotourism lodges, rules and ranking system.
Ashkan held more than 50 workshops in the field of sustainable tourism, etourism and tourism startups.

از سال 1382 به صورت حرفه ای و جدی در حوزه گردشگری ایران ورود کردم.
حدود 14 سالی است که در صنعت گردشگری به عنوان راهنمای تورهای ورودی و خروجی به صورت حرفه ای فعالیت میکنم.
در همین سالها به عنوان مدیر تور، مشاور بازاریابی و برنامه ریز سفر،مشاور بازاریابی دیجیتال، روزنامه نگار و عکاس حوزه گردشگری و هتلداری مشغول فعالیت بودم.
از سال 1392 در حوزه آموزش گردشگری در موسسات گردشگری و دانشگاه های گردشگری و هتلداری مشغول به تدریس دروس مختلف و تخصصی این حوزه شدم.
در حال حاضر به طور تخصصی در موضوعات گردشگری پایدار، اقامتگاه های بومگردی و گردشگری الکترونیک در حال کار هستم.
